Be Rich Serve as a family!
We have opportunities to give · serve· love as a family! There are opportunities to serve with our community partners, or your child or student can serve as a part of their Sunday environment.
Here's how:
- Talk to your family about being generous with time and resources to love the people in our community.
- Sign up for a serve opportunity or shop together for donations (each children & student environment is collecting different supplies).
- Serve together or drop off your donation at Woodstock City Church.

Serve Opportunities for the Whole Family
Babies–Pre-K
Waumba Land
Waumba Land is partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to bring beds to families in need in our community.
Serving our local community this season is simple:
Bring a new stuffed animal with the tags still attached to church. Choose one that is small enough for a child to easily carry and cuddle.
Collection is on October 18 & 25 in Waumba Land!
K–5th Grade
UpStreet
UpStreet is partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to bring beds to families in need in our community. Each bed they deliver to a child comes complete with a brand-new twin-sized sheet set and comforter or bed-in-a-bag and a standard-size pillow.
Serving our local community this season is simple: donate twin bed-in-a-bags and/or twin waterproof mattress protectors (like THESE).
Collection is on October 18 & 25 on UpStreet!
Middles School Students
Transit
Transit is partnering with MUST Ministries to help stock their Toy Shop. Your student and their small group have the opportunity to provide toys and Christmas presents for those children.
We ask that our students bring toys and gifts that are best for a middle school student.
Toy Drive Collection will be on November 15, 22, at 29 in Transit.
High School Students
InsideOut
InsideOut is also partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to bring beds to families in need in our community.
Under SHP's guidance, students will build bunks in an assembly-line setup. There are stations for sawing, sanding, drilling, assembling, staining, and branding the wood. What started as a pile of raw lumber from the hardware store becomes ready-to-deliver bunks for kids in need.
Students will complete their build on IO Serve Day on Sunday, November 22.
