That’s why we created Restoring Christmas—a free event designed to bring comfort, compassion, and hope to those navigating loss during the holidays. 

We'll hear uplifting music, and Daniel and Brittany Brooker will share their thoughts on grief in this season.

Daniel and Brittany Brooker are local Woodstock residents who have a passion for helping others navigate loss. 

Both were widowed at a young age while raising small children, and their journey through loss has shaped their heart to encourage others with the faithfulness of God and the hope found in Jesus.

Out of that experience, Daniel founded Refuge Widowers, the first nationwide ministry dedicated to guiding widowers through gospel-centered community.

In 2017, Daniel and Brittany remarried and blended their families, and they are now raising their six children together.

They share openly about grief, healing, and hope, pointing others to God’s presence and purpose in every season.
