FRIENDSGIVING

It’s funny how we tend to remember trivial things but forget the bigger moments. Tonight, we were reminded of the importance of remembering God’s faithfulness, just like the Israelites set up memorial stones after crossing the Jordan River. We’re called to intentionally remember, especially in difficult times, because reflecting on God’s past faithfulness strengthens our trust for the future. The act of communion offers a powerful reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice, inviting us to remember His love and the gift of life He offers. With Thanksgiving approaching, we hope you get the chance to pause and reflect on the blessings in your life, and share this season with the people you love.

SCRIPTURE

Joshua 4:1-3, 19-24
